Our Approach

The mission of Kingsman Academy is to provide an individualized and rigorous education in a supportive environment to prepare scholars for post-secondary success and responsible citizenship.

Kingsman Academy offers individualized instruction, engagement and behavior support, and rich special education services. We use a strong multi-tiered system of supports, a school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program, and numerous co-curricular and extracurricular programs to build a community of learners who are prepared for college and career success and engaged citizenship.

We meet students at their current skill levels in small classes, supplemented by sports, activities, and learning expeditions.

We engage students with project-based and experiential learning, with a sharp focus on success after high school.

We welcome

students into a comfortable, therapeutic environment with a multi-tiered system of behavior supports.

Learning Environment

You will find no desks in rows at Kingsman Academy. Our classrooms are arranged as coworking spaces to make students comfortable and ready to collaborate and explore.

The Five Promises

Our Five Promises of Civility, Integrity, Contribution, Fortitude, and Empathy guide the work of Kingsman students and staff in school and in the community.

"Empathy is my favorite -- it’s putting yourself in someone else's shoes."

- Kingsman Middle School Student
